Social Media Marketing and Paid Advertising Specialist

We are currently looking for a Social Media Marketing and Paid Advertising Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day Social Media management and leading online paid ads on social media channels. The person will be part of the marketing team for one of our clients, who is an media and B2B event leader in the Nordics, focusing on Data, Analytics and AI innovation.

You will be responsible for planning and publishing content on all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately, boost sales. In addition you will be responsible for setting up, optimizing and reporting for paid advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, Google and Facebook.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle strategy, ideation and execution for social media marketing;
  • Prepare monthly calendars for all social media handles, and provide concept and copy;
  •  Plan, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video and other content types) on a daily basis which builds meaningful customer connections increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand;
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Graphic Design teams to develop social media campaigns;
  • Capture and analyse the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, and use that information to refine future campaigns;
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies;
  • Responsible for setting up, launching, optimizing and managing paid digital marketing campaigns, including SEM, display and paid social (prospecting, remarketing and retargeting) campaigns on LinkedIn, Google and Facebook;
  • Drive A/B paid advertising testing strategy across all channels, including SEM, creative and keyword testing, expansion and optimization across all channels;
  • Continuously monitor paid advertising performance and budget pacing to identify when fast adjustments/optimizations are required;
  • Contribute to and help out the Marketing Team with planning and pre-event activities;
  • Will report to the Head of Marketing.

 

SKILLS

  • Superb written and oral communication skills in English Language;
  • Creative thinker able to propose disruptive ideas;
  • Works well under pressure and is capable of managing a complex range of stakeholders and working as part of an integrated marketing team;
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, platforms and tools (e.g. Hootsuite, LinkedIn Advertising and Google Ads etc.).

 

EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in English Language, Marketing, e-Business and/or equivalent;
  • Experience managing social media channels and/or paid advertising will be considered an asset.
