We are searching for a motivated Senior Accountant who will be part of a well-established international accounting department and will provide full support and respond to the needs of our Scandinavian clients.
Office location: Tetovo or Skopje.
The ideal candidate has:
Knowledge
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting principles and laws (experience with international accounting is a plus);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
Education
- BSc in Economics (accounting, auditing, finance) or equivalent.
Skills
- High attention to detail;
- Analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environment.
Work duties
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliation;
- Preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly and yearly VAT returns;
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports;
- Preparing salaries and administrating payroll;
- Preparing financial statements;
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
