Digital Content Marketer

We are hiring a Digital Content Marketer to join the marketing team of one of our clients, a media and B2B event leader in the Nordics focusing on Data, Analytics, and AI innovation.

The person we are looking for is highly organized and creative, possessing strong writing skills and exceptional communication and planning skills.  They work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere and are committed to creating a better and more informative world.

The digital content marketer will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content, developing and managing the overall content strategy, and collaborating across marketing functions to deliver and achieve business and marketing objectives.

Office: Tetovo and Skopje.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Research and create high-quality content for the company’s blog and website using WordPress and SEO best practices, to drive organic traffic;
  • Develop content across various formats, including blog posts, case studies, e-books, email newsletters, video scripts, infographics, and social media copy;
  • Manage and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging;
  • Work with external experts to publish guest articles, making sure the content meets quality standards and fits the company’s editorial style;
  • Use Yoast SEO to optimize content for search, and support off-page SEO efforts by handling guest posts and backlink requests;
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters to engage the audience and support marketing campaigns;
  • Track content performance using Google Analytics and other relevant tools to refine content strategies and improve results alongside the rest of the Marketing team;
  • Work with other members of the Marketing and Editorial team to make sure deadlines and deliverables are met based on scope of work;
  • Maintain and organize digital assets in a structured and accessible way for the rest of the team;
  • Take ownership of the digital channels and assets of the company and update them with the latest text, video, and audio content;
  • Play an active role within the Marketing and Editorial teams by helping plan and execute pre-event activities;
  • Report to the Head of Marketing;

 

The job also involves doing video-recorded and written interviews with senior executives and experts from global companies, and may include sporadic business trips to other countries.

 

SKILLS:

  • Superb written and oral communication skills in the English language;
  • Creative thinker able to propose disruptive ideas;
  • Works well under pressure and is capable of managing a complex range of stakeholders and working as part of an integrated marketing team;
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, WordPress, platforms, and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Trends, etc.).

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree in Journalism, English Language, Marketing, e-Business and/or equivalent;
  • Experience in journalism and/or digital content creation;
  • Proven interview and article writing skills;

 

Experience in developing and delivering innovative digital content and/or experience managing social media and online communities will be considered an asset.
