Conference Producer

On behalf of one of our Swedish clients, an event industry leader in the area of data analytics and AI in the Nordics and beyond, we are now looking for a Conference Producer for its newly established MEA division.

The Conference Producer will be responsible for identifying, researching, and executing corporate events, training, workshops, and exhibitions designed for Data Management, Analytics, and AI executives from the MEA Region.

 

The role

The duties of the Conference Producer  would be:

  • Determine the agenda and conference planning in compliance with the market necessities and the company’s growth plan;
  • Review the market and always perform a research phase. Expectations: a minimum of 4 events during the first year of operations;
  • Analyse research and use critical thinking to develop commercial conference programs that meet the stated needs of the market;
  • Compliance with conference, hotel, and cost requirements;
  • Conduct and research potential attendees and sponsors in a target market to develop conference agendas;
  • Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences;
  • Make sure to get the proper speaker recruitment;
  • Establish relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives, and media within relevant vertical markets;
  • Perform public relations activities between events scheduled;
  • Assure the revenue budgeted and the number of sponsors and paid attendees;
  • On-Site of the live events, perform Public Relations Activities, assure the setup of the event, manage coordination, and the support team to test the functionality of all items. Review brochures and other public content shared;
  • Attend and oversee live, hybrid, or live conferences, including providing an opening introduction, speaker assistance, and support;
  • Managing a team dedicated to helping you to comply with the goals and be in constant communication with the Operations Director for reporting;
  • Handle all the issues related to general disputes, sales, leads, costs, other expenses, time off, performance, daily tasks;
  • Work with and support a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s Degree;
  • 2-4 years of business experience in Conference Production, and event planning, with proven record of min 4 internationally executed events;
  • Superior written and spoken English language skills;
  • Good written and spoken Macedonian language skills;
  • Analytical, research, and commercialization skills along with experience working in a leadership environment or as a project lead with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Commitment to performance: minimum number of events, speakers, and attendees (audience development), revenue assurance, and agendas based on the market necessities;
  • Demonstrated skills in networking, building relationships, and strong verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Demonstrated skills in phone and video interviewing;
  • Advanced proficiency with social networking sites and the Internet
  • Ability to work on multiple projects within tight production timeframes
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Google docs.
