We are searching for a motivated Accountant with expertise in French Accounting who will be part of a well-established international department and will provide full support and respond to the needs of our customer.
The ideal candidate has:
Knowledge
- Experience in French accounting principles and laws is a must (experience with international accounting is a plus);
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
- Fluent in French both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 with advanced proficiency in Excel (will be considered a plus)
Education
BSc in Economics (accounting, auditing, finance) or equivalent.
Skills
- High attention to detail;
- Analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environment
Work duties
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliation;
- Preparation and reporting of VAT returns;
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports;
- Preparing salaries and administrating payroll;
- Preparing financial statements;
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
