A highly inspirational event and media group with a culture of innovation and growth are looking for an Event Sponsorship Executive to manage the sponsorship revenues for their Data, Analytics and AI bespoke event portfolio.
As Event Sponsorship Executive you will be driving sponsorship/partnership revenues across a diverse portfolio of bespoke and exclusive Data, Analytics and AI events marketed directly to a selection of Nordic and International Customers. Outside of sponsorship’s/partnerships, you will oversee the revenue generation across partner ticket sales, exhibition commerce, stand sales. You will also take responsibility for the full P&L (profit & lost) and therefore ensure the event management is profitable and the sponsorship strategy is effective and on track. In the role, you will work very closely and report directly to the VP Sales. This is a senior position within a new department which is set to grow quickly so the opportunity is big. These events are normally between 250 to 2500 people in size with 10 to 70 Partners/Exhibitors per event.
Requirements for the role
2+ years in B2B event sponsorship sales experience or similar;
BA/BS degree or equivalent required;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
Experience selling to large, complex accounts using a consultative selling process;
Proven success with and understanding of a structured sales process, including prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with marketing executives and other decision-makers;
Desire to be perceived as a market evangelist and expert;
Exemplary high standards for customer service, honesty, and integrity;
Ability to take initiative in identifying, addressing and resolving day to day issues and challenges;
Confident, articulate and outgoing;
Stable career path;
Strong attention to detail.
